Motorola Gives Away Free DSR905 Digital Sidecar on Dana Pretzer Show This Sunday

Motorola will be giving away a free Digital Sidecar on the Dana Pretzer Radio Show this coming Sunday, March 25 at 10:00 pm Eastern.

Joe Cornwall, Motorola's National Sales Manager for C-Band/4DTV Sales, will ask a trivia question related to the 4DTV satellite receiver and/or C-Band industry. The first person who responds correctly will win.

Questions will also be taken about the 4DTV and the Digital Sidecar receivers, the prime focus of Cornwall's discussion with Pretzer.

Tune into the Dana Pretzer Radio Show this Sunday, March 25 at 10:00 pm Eastern. Use the link on Dana's web page to listen at http://www3.sk.sympatico.ca/pretdd/index.htm.

4DTV Programming Changes for this Week Now Showing

4DTV gained a new channel called "The Recovery Network" courtesy of Access TV. This channel features health education programming
for 12 hours per day. It currently shows on GB-16-601 "in the clear" NTSC, and is available to all.

The following lists some additional changes:

Classic Sports (ClasSpt) on X4-400 has gone subscription. .

Lifetime Movie Network (LMN) at X4-200 has gone subscription.

Neither of these channels are currently part of any 4DTV Service Providers package. If you want to subscribe, call your service provider and ask they be added.
The more calls, the more chance of providers offering them in their programming packages.

Ovation on X4-600 has gone subscription. It can still be seen on GB-600.

BBC America (BBCam) on X4-700 has gone subscription. It can still be seen on C3-700.

Outdoor Channel (OUT) on X4-402 has gone subscription. It can still be seen on G0-24 (analog).

Ambassador Radio was removed from the guide at W3-955. It is no longer broadcasting there.

GEMS Shopping Network was removed from G3-2.

TalkAm and TalkAm2 were removed from W7-950 & 951. They can still be picked up on W3-952 & 954. W7-958, Talk Network had a frequency change to Mono at 8.0Mhz.

W3-954, Talk America 1 was changed to 6.8MHz Wide BW from Narrow.

WWTN was added back at G5-963. It is now a Mono/Narrow feed (was Discrete Stereo/Wide).
